The doctor is in
Teladoc doctors are U.S. board-certified internal medicine practitioners, family doctors and pediatricians. They’re state-licensed and bring an average of 20 years of experience.
When it’s appropriate, Teladoc physicians can prescribe medications. Also, since Teladoc General Medical shouldn’t replace primary care, doctors may refer members to their primary care physician when necessary for additional care or follow-up.
* If using Teladoc while traveling outside the U.S., some restrictions—such as the ability to get medications—could apply.

Members can easily access Teladoc services by phone, online or by downloading the app.
To begin, members contacting Teladoc need to fill out or update a brief medical history. Then, they can request a doctor visit by phone or video—and talk to a doctor in a matter of minutes.

Teladoc is available in all 50 states and around the globe. So, members can access services* whether they’re at home, on-the-go or traveling.
